Tsavo East and Tsavo West are divided by Kenya’s main highway between Nairobi and Mombasa. They offer similar experiences, although Tsavo West is smaller and a little more accessible, especially if you’re looking for a combined bush and beach experience. While you could visit just for the day, we’ve found that you really need a couple of days in order to discover the heart of the Tsavo experience.
